Had very much the same situation yesterday. Someone was supposed to pick me up in a different city, and I had a train option to arrive only almost an hour before that. Was hoping I could send that time just reading a book, but he came to meet me right when I arrived. A lovely gesture but my excitement about the book was ruined.
Hate when that happens 🙂
Ah, the luxury of just sitting somewhere undisturbed and reading. I don’t get that as often as I like.
