Comic Con Baltics 2026

“Let’s do this one more time.”

I got confirmation I’d be back for the 8th installment of Comic Con Baltics back in February, which meant I could build it into my syllabus nicely. This would be my 6th time working for the con and my seventh time attending*. I also got asked if I would do another lecture, like I did last year. Last time, due to the Superman film opening, I did a brief history of the character. This time, we settled on doing the same thing about Spider-Man, knowing the film was coming out this summer.

Review: Keller’s Fedora, Difficult Men, Invasion of the Body Snatchers and others

So here’s the deal: I’m slacking on my book reviews. Not that I haven’t been reading (or listening) to lots of books – in fact, I’m one book ahead where I need to be to complete my 70 book Goodreads challenge.

But I’ve bean bad about doing weekly reviews of individual books so I’m giving myself a break and allowing for Short Book Reviews of an assembled grouping.
