How Lithuania embraced pop culture – NYLA

A few weeks back, I attended Comic-Con Baltics, a relatively new pop culture convention here in Lithuania. I was there at the behest of Nanook and their NYLA podcast to talk about How Lithuania embraced pop culture. It was a lot of fun, and I met some pretty cool people like Foxtail, a superb cosplayer, who won awards at the London Super Comic Con. Agnė Juškėnaitė, the biggest Lithuanian  geek vlogger who has her own YouTube show. Lesya Parker and Ekaterina Krasner, producer and director of Magic First, the film by and for J.K.Rowling fans in Moscow. And, of course, my old friend Ieva, a video games designer at Nordcurrent and one of the most game-knowledgable people in all of LT.

So if you’re so inclined, give it a listen. It was certainly an informative afternoon!
